Yellow River is the mother river of the Chinese nation,which has nurtured hundreds of millions of Chinese people. As a 4A tourist attraction,located 20 kilometers northwest of Zhengzhou city and this is the end of Loess Plateau.

Starting from Bayan Kala Mountain in Qinghai province and ending Bohai sea Shandong province, the Yellow river is 5,464 kilometers in length and covers an area of 752000 square kilometers. It’s like a muddy water, each year, the Yellow River carries 1.6 billion tons of sediment, with an average annual sediment content of 37% , reaching 60% during the rainy season. If we build a one-meter-high and one-meter-wide dyke with this sediment, this dyke can circle the Earth 27 times! Every year the riverbed will be 3-5 centimetres higher than last year.
