Huanglongxi Ancient Town is located about 40 kilometers southeast of Chengdu, bordering the Fuhe River (Jinjiang River) to the east and Mount Muma to the north. In history, Huanglongxi was an important military town in the south of Chengdu and an important place for river defense. Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han, once took Huanglongxi as the starting point of the southern campaign of Shu and stationed a large number of troops, which made important achievements for the State of Shu.
