Meet up at the lobby of your Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning, greeting by your knowledgeable and friendly personal guide then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Giant Panda Breeding Base. Upon arrival, spend some leisure time to see the Giant pandas including new born babies, teenagers and adult pandas. Learn about the different stages of panda’s life from infancy to adulthood. Visit the research laboratory, the museum, the panda playground, the animal hospital, and the facility’s beautiful lake. You can take photos these enchanting and endangered creatures as they relax in their natural environment.

Wenshu Yuan Monastery

Afterwards, heading back to city, on the way your tour guide will introduce several landmarks, shopping area and things to do in Chengdu City, discuss with your guide then decide the places you want to go. Typically you will visit to Wenshu Yuan Monastery. Wenshu yuan Monastery is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in the city with hundreds of bronze, wooden and stone statues, and Buddhist relics. Day 2

Chengdu-Leshan Giant Buddha(L)

Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

Meet up at the lobby of your Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning, greeting by your knowledgeable and friendly personal guide then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Leshan Giant Buddha(approx.2.5 hours), relax on the way and enjoy beautiful countryside view. As the UNESCO Sites, construction of the Leshan Buddha, begun in the year 713 in the Tang Dynasty, and finished in the year 803, the statue took people more than 90 years to carve. During these years, thousands of workers had expended their efforts and wisdom on the project. As the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world, the Giant Buddha is featured in poetry, song and story. Follow your tour guide to explore the whole area, you will view Buddha from different view.

Lingyun Temple

Your first stop is the Lingyun Temple which located behind the Grand Buddha’s head. Marvel at the elaborate construction of the Buddha’s coiled hair, which is made up of around 1,020 twisted buns. Walk inside and marvel at the intricate sculptures and wall designs of the temple. Then absorb panoramic views of three rivers converging prettily below. Then, follow your guide walk down approximately 30 minutes toward the left side of the Grand Buddha. When you reach the bottom, gasp at the 233-foot (71-meter) height of the largest carved Buddha in the entire world and capture fantastic photographs of the sacred site.

Wuyou Temple

Next, explore the right side of the Buddha to discover the Wuyou Temple which contains an abundance of terra-cotta sculptures and calligraphic paintings. Stroll around the temple with your tour guide, learn more information about the Buddhism. If the line to Wuyou Temple too long, you will take a river cruise for the panoramic view of Giant Buddha instead. Day 3

Chengdu- Qingcheng Mountain- Dujiangyan Irrigation System(L)

Mount Qingcheng

Meet up at the lobby of your Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning, greeting by your knowledgeable and friendly personal guide then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Leshan Giant Buddha(approx.1 hour), relax on the way and enjoy beautiful countryside view. As the UNESCO Site, Mount Qingcheng is one of the birthplaces of the Taoist religion and It is also a very attractive and intriguing scenic spot that is covered by luxuriant and verdant trees. There are 36 peaks in the mountain, more than 20 ancient temples and religious sites for Taoism, it exudes a strong flavor of Taoist culture and the buildings demonstrate the Sichuan style of architecture.

Jianfu Palace

Follow your tour guide to take the battery bus to the main entrance, explore the highlights of Qigncheng Mountain, including different temples, pavilions, and other attractions. Get to know their history and stories.

Tianshi Cave

Move on to Tianshi Cave.You will see a Sui Dynasty (581-618) statue of Zhang Tianshi who is known as the founder of Taoism on Mt. Qingcheng. Explore three other buildings: Sanhuang Palace, the Sanqing Palace and the Huangdi Temple.

Back Peak of Qingcheng Mountain

Next, take cable car to Shangqing Palace, Qingsheng’s must-see building. The Shuangqing Palace was originally built during the Jin Dynasty (265-420), it was destroyed and rebuilt several times in history. Stroll around the halls and courtyards with your tour guide and admire the ancient temple, its relics and ancient gingko trees. Walk to Laojun Pavilion, learn the history and enjoy amazing view of the surrounding area. Descend by cable car to the foot of the mountain. Then enjoy lunch in the local village.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Erwang Temple
