Chengdu Panda base

Located in the northern suburb of Chengdu on Futou Hill, 10 km (6 miles) from downtown. Eighty five percent of the world’s wild panda population resides in Sichuan. As the guardians of this cherished gift from nature, Chengdu has devoted great resources towards learning about pandas and helping to preserve them in the world. You will visit pandas living in the enclosures, there are about 70 pandas living in the base, early morning to see pandas is a good choice as you can see them play games, eating, drinking, etc. Besides you can see red pandas and Swan lake to see black and white Swans, there is a tea and coffe shop in the base for you to choose a cup of tea or coffe but need to pay on spot, if lucky you may see baby pandas in the Breeding base.
