The Duoyishu Rice Terraces Scenic Area, named after the local Duoyi, is a breathtaking destination inhabited by the Hani people. Comprising the Duoyishu Rice Terraces, Huangcaoling Rice Terraces, Aichun Rice Terraces, and Pugaolao Village, among others, this region boasts stunning landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. Situated at an altitude exceeding 1,700 meters, Duoyishu Village offers a panoramic view of the surrounding 9,700 acres of terraced fields, making it the premier location for witnessing the spectacle of sunrise.

At dawn, as the sun ascends over the mountaintops, its golden glow bathes the sky, illuminating the terraced slopes below. The entire mountainside appears adorned in a vibrant array of colors, captivating the beholder’s gaze with its resplendent beauty.

The terraces of Duoyishu are perpetually enveloped in a shroud of mist and clouds, lending an ethereal quality to the landscape. The ever-changing panorama of rolling clouds creates a dynamic spectacle, sometimes obscuring the terrain entirely, only to reveal it moments later in all its splendor.
