How to buy tickets to the Lingering Garden?

Highly recommended to use the official “Suzhou Garden Tourism” / “Lingering Garden” WeChat Official Account, Suzhou Garden Tourism Network or trusted ticket agency to help with the booking, which saves time and avoids troubles. Tickets are required to book in advance; individual visitors can purchase tickets on-site at the Comprehensive Service Window with valid documents if there are remaining tickets, but online reservation is still preferred.

Do I need to book a ticket to Lingering Garden in advance?

Yes, you must book online in advance.

Tickets are available 1–7 days before the visit date (you can book tickets for any day and any opening time slot within 7 days from the current day, while stocks last).

Please book as early as possible, especially during weekends, peak seasons and holidays. Note that during National Day, tickets for peak time slots (09:30–11:30, 13:30–15:30) will not be sold on the same day from 00:00 onwards.

Can I buy a ticket on the spot upon arrival?

Same-day on-site tickets are available only if there are remaining tickets.

Lingering Garden mainly sells pre-booked tickets via official platforms; individual visitors can purchase tickets on-site at the Comprehensive Service Window with valid documents if there are remaining tickets.

There are no walk-up tickets for sale at the entrance except at the Comprehensive Service Window. During National Day, on-site self-service ticket vending machines will be closed, and no on-site self-service reservation and ticket sales services will be provided.

Please make a reservation before your visit to avoid being denied entry. For elderly people and other groups who have difficulty using the Internet, you can ask the staff or volunteers at the scenic spot for assistance with ticket purchase.

Is there any place in Lingering Garden to deposit luggage?

Yes. Lingering Garden provides free luggage storage at the Visitor Service Station (on the right side of the Main Entrance). Official and commercial luggage storage is also available nearby.

Official Free Luggage Storage

Location: Visitor Service Station (on the right side of the Main Entrance)

Hours: Same as garden opening hours (High Season: 07:30–17:30; Low Season: 07:30–17:00), which can accommodate more than 30 pieces of luggage.

Details: Supports large suitcases; collect before closing.

Paid Commercial Storage (Nearby)

Location: About 20–50 meters from the Main Entrance of Lingering Garden, near the Southeast Gate Bus Station or Shilu Metro Station.

Hours: 07:00–19:00 or 08:00–16:30 daily (varies by storage point).

Policy: Backpack ¥5–10/day, suitcase ¥10–20/day; collect on the same day; a 20% cancellation fee will be charged for payment amount if you cancel the storage reservation.

Important Notes:

1.Valuables (laptops, cameras, cash, etc.) are not allowed for storage.

2.Pets are not allowed inside the scenic area.

3.Please keep your storage ticket and claim your luggage before closing.
