Headiing to the Suzhou city, it will take around 1.5 hours.The ancient city of Suzhou has an enviable location and trading history that has resulted in a unique level of prosperity and fortune through the ages. Perhaps the greatest result of this can be seen in the breathtaking and historical Suzhou classical gardens. It is little wonder that people say South China is the most beautiful, and Suzhou is the most beautiful in South China.
Once arrive at the Suzhou,you will start your tour from the Humble Administrator’s Garden ,The Humble Administrator’s Garden was built in the early years of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty (in the early sixteenth century), with a history of over 500 years. It is one of the representative works of classical gardens south of the Yangtze River.
Walk along the Famous Pingjiang historical street,It is a portrait of “water and land, and rivers adjacent to the streets,” and a good example of the waterside towns south of the Yangtze River with their “small bridges over flowing streams, and whitewashed walls and black tiles”. Its cultural heritage and landscape are exemplified in places such as Ouyuan Garden, a world cultural heritage site, and the Kunqu Opera Museum (Quanjin Guild Hall), a cultural heritage exhibit of Kunqu Opera.
Stop at a Local Restaurant for lunch
Heading to Hanshan Temple,Hanshan Temple (寒山寺); literally “Cold Mountain Temple”, is a Buddhist temple and monastery in Suzhou, China. It is located at the town of Fengqiao (lit. Maple Bridge), about 5 kilometres west of the old city of Suzhou.
Continue to visit the Tiger hill.With a history of more than 2,500 years, the Huqiu has been known as No. 1 Sight of Suzhou. It is a must for tourists. The great Song literary man Su Dongpo said, “It would be a pity if you had been to Suzhou but didn’t get to visit the Huqiu.” As a showcase of Suzhou and one of the first ten exemplary civilized tourist attractions of China, it receives over 1,500,000 Chinese and foreign tourists every year, and has taken over the lead in the tourism industry of Suzhou for ten years running.
