My husband and I arranged tours for our trip to Beijing with Discover Beijing Tours.Leading up to our trip, I emailed Discover Beijing. Tours many times with various questions,answers were always prompt, complete and always willing to help us out.
We spent a couple of days with our friend Ashley in Beijing. Ashley met us at our hotel early in the morning with a driver. She did a fantastic job in arranging the tour absolutely perfectly. We visited all of the attractions we wanted to see as well as a few that Ashley recommended. She was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Her knowledge of the area was amazing. There was no question she couldn’t answer.
Ashley’s choice of restaurants were very affordable local establishments with great food – exactly what we wanted.
I would definitely recommend Ashley and Discover Beijing Tours to others who are planning to visit Beijing.

We had a fantastic tour thanks to Kelly and Qing. We were in Beijing for work and had only 1 day off to see the sights, so we felt that the tour was the best way to go.

Kelly was fantastic, very easy to talk to and spoke perfect english, especially as she went into the details of the history between each place we saw. The lunch stop had fantastic food, and definitely felt like is a place where the locals go and bigger tour groups don’t make it to. All-in-all, thanks to Kelly and Qing, there is no better way to see the Great Wall and Forbidden City.

Our wonderful experience in Beijing was primarily provided by Qing and her wonderful guide, Ashley. After planning by going back and forth with Qing online, we put together a tour perfectly suited to our time limits and interests. Train pick up and delivery were also included in our arrangements. Ashley met us at our tiny hutong hotel, Cote Cour, precisely on time with driver ready to go. Our first day was spent at Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City. Ashley provided interesting information and at a comfortable pace. The next day was a full day of sights around the city and a special treat of an evening acrobat performance. The third day involved taking us to the Great Wall at Mutianyu where we spent the night at the Brickyard. We made arrangements with Qing for a driver to pick us up the next morning to take us to the train station again. Reasonable prices with NO hassle. All were fantastic. What made the experience extra special were a number of things: 1) Ashley, sweet, easy to be with, wishing we could pack her in our suitcase for the entire rest of our trip. 2) Lunch at Qing’s mother-in-law’s house was delicious and so authentic. Loved her mom! 3) Ashley and the driver took care of some extra needs such as going to the extra mile to take us to get train tickets, spent an extra long second day with us(11 hours with show) and walking us into the train station to get us situated. I cannot say enough about our driver who picked us up at the train station and delivered us. Our hotel was tucked away in a tiny alley (hutong) and it was wonderful having made all the arrangements ahead of time. I highly recommend having all those pieces in place to make transitions smooth. Qing was so great that she called the driver a couple of times to make sure everything was going well and then spoke to me to confirm. She was thorough, personal and extremely professional. We loved our choice of this tour. HIGHLY recommend. Love to you, Ashley!!

We had Discover Beijing Tours for 3 days. We could tell how careful they are from the very beginning of our trip. Our flight to Beijing was canceled and when I finally got in contact with them, they were super worried about us. We ended up taking a late flight and even so, they picked us up at the airport (even though it was pretty late at night).
The tours were great. Ashley, our guide, showed knowledge of all Chinese touristic places we’ve been to and was really kind. Xang (I’m sorry if I misspelled the name), our driver, is a nice guy and having lunch at his family house was great. Gotta say that cars were SO clean. This was such a positive aspect, since I’m used to taxi cars in Asia which sometimes are quite old and smell.
I’ve talked to people who went to Beijing and didn’t have such an amazing experience in terms of having in depth information about all the fantastic historical places the city has to offer. I’m pretty sure that we had a much richer experience due to “Discover Beijing Tours”. I would definitely recommend it to others (in fact, already had,..)

I contacted Qing several months before our visit to Beijing after reading excellent reviews in Tripadvisor and I am so glad I did because it is one of the best trips we have ever made and we will remember it forever. She planned our three day visit according to our needs. She always answered all of my emails with no delay and offered many options for our first trip to China. Our guide Ashley, speaks very well English and explained us with detail and great knowledge the history and culture. She is very sweet and patient. We spend two days in Beijing and one day in the Great Wall . It was fantastic . We felt at ease everywhere since she help us ordering our meals and bargaining for souvenirs. We also asked for airport pick up and port drop off since we were taking a cruise from Tianjing,We had paid for a tour in Shanghai but due to bad weather the ship changed our itinerary. Qing immediately wrote me giving me several options for refunding us the money and she kept writing till she was sure I got the refund.
I definitely will contact her again in a next visit to China and will recommend Discover Beijing Tours to everyone visiting China.
