Day 2 Xining – Qinghai Lake (B, L)

After breakfast, drive around 150 km to see the picturesque Qinghai Lake from Xining via Huangyuan, Riyue Mountain, etc. Driving through picturesque landscapes can be a refreshing experience. The vibrant green grasslands, clear blue skies, fluffy white clouds, and grazing herds create a captivating photo gallery. Day 3 Xining Departure ( B,L )

After breakfast, drive about 28 km to visit the famous Kumbum Monastery，The blend of Tibetan and traditional Chinese styles in the temple complex creates a unique and visually striking architectural design. Next, drive 37 km to visit the Tibetan Medicine & Tibet Culture Museum. It is a theme museum highlighting the profound Tibetan medicine and folk culture.Exploring various exhibition halls can offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. Ancient surgical instruments, medical books, specially processed specimens, and astronomical calendar calculation methods are on display. After lunch, transfer to Dongguan Mosque, the largest mosque in Qinghai.The mosque’s significance as a sacred sanctuary for Muslims is deeply rooted in its history and its role as one of the four greatest mosques in Northwest China. Furthermore, its status as the highest-level institute for Islamic study adds another layer of importance to this institution.
