Your journey begins in the ancient city of Xi’an, the starting point of the famous Silk Road. This city holds a treasury of historical and cultural relics, including the Terracotta Warriors, the Ancient City Wall, and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Day 1 Xi’an
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
On the way to city, discuss with your professional local guide to customize your own sightseeing itinerary. The customized 2 days tour offer you 6-8 hours each day to discover the highlights of the city, you can decide the pace of your day and how much you’d like to fit in with your informative and friendly tour guide. For 2 days, you can choose 4-6 attractions to visit in Xi’an. Visit your choice of historic, cultural and culinary attractions in the vibrant city and after tour days tour, you can decide to finish your tour in Xi’an or return Beijing by plane. If you decide to finish your tour in Xi’an, your guide and driver will drop you off in your Xi’an city hotel’s lobby. If you return Beijing, your driver in Beijing will pick you up from Beijing international Airport and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. Start with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta warriors museum which known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”. The museum divided into three sections: No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit. The original site was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974 and now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xi’an. Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang)
After lunch, perhaps head to the 600 years old Xi’an City Wall. Reach the top of the centuries-old city wall, admire views of the city below.
Muslim Quarter

Day 2 Xi’an

Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel, follow your prearranged itinerary to discover the Xi’an city highlights. Top popular attractions in Xi’an you may interested, you may choose 2-3 attractions to visit depending on your flight schedule. Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and travelers Monk Xuanzang.
Xi’an Mosque
Xi’an Great Mosque is the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China
Small Goose Pagoda
Small Wild Goose Pagoda: Follow your tour guide to visit the pagoda and the Xi’an Museum in the temple. Get to know how Buddhism was introduced to China and integrated with the culture of Han nationality.
Shaanxi History Museum
Shaanxi History Museum: The museum boasts 370,000 pieces relics range from prehistory when human just use simple stone tools to all kinds of exquisite wares in the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911).
After the tour, you will be escorted to the train station for a high-speed train to Chengdu(about 3.5-4 hours). Upon your arrival in Chengdu, your driver will meet you at the exit of the train station and escort you to your hotel in Chengdu downtown area.
Day 3 Chengdu
Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)
Meet up at the lobby of your Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning, greeting by your knowledgeable and friendly personal guide then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Giant Panda Breeding Base. Upon arrival, spend some leisure time to see the Giant pandas including new born babies, teenagers and adult pandas. Learn about the different stages of panda’s life from infancy to adulthood. Visit the research laboratory, the museum, the panda playground, the animal hospital, and the facility’s beautiful lake. You can take photos these enchanting and endangered creatures as they relax in their natural environment.
Wenshu Yuan Monastery
Afterwards, heading back to city, on the way your tour guide will introduce several landmarks, shopping area and things to do in Chengdu City, discuss with your guide then decide the places you want to go. Typically you will visit to Wenshu Yuan Monastery. Wenshu yuan Monastery is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in the city with hundreds of bronze, wooden and stone statues, and Buddhist relics. Since the Tang (618-907) dynasties, over 500 pieces of painting and calligraphy by celebrities have been stored here. Stroll around the courtyard with your tour guide, get to know about the Buddhism in China, see how locals pray here with incense. Admire different culture relics and explore its exquisite garden and solemn halls.
Wuhou Memorial Temple
Then, move on to the Wuhou Memorial Temple which was built in the 6th century in memory of the Emperor Liu Bei and the Prime Minister Zhuge Liang of the Shu Kingdom. Follow your tour guide to explore important buildings including: the Temple of Liu Bei, the Temple of Zhuge Liang and Sanyi Temple, and the Tomb of Liubei. Kuanzhai Alley

Jinli Pedestrian Street (Pass By)
If you have been to these places before, and want to do something different, just feel free to discuss with your tour guide. Other sites in city you may interested to go: Jinli Pedestrian Street, once was one of the busiest commercial streets during the Shu Kingdom (221-263). Today, you can find boutique shops, modern bards and restaurants, and all types of local snacks. *Chengdu Museum *QingYang Palace *Sichuan Museum You can also choose to visit a local fresh market, or park, or massage. After the tour finished, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chengdu.
Day 4 Sichuan
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)
Meet up at the lobby of your Chengdu Downtown hotel in the morning, greeting by your knowledgeable and friendly personal guide then transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Leshan Giant Buddha(approx.2.5 hours), relax on the way and enjoy beautiful countryside view. As the UNESCO Sites, construction of the Leshan Buddha, begun in the year 713 in the Tang Dynasty, and finished in the year 803, the statue took people more than 90 years to carve. During these years, thousands of workers had expended their efforts and wisdom on the project. As the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world, the Giant Buddha is featured in poetry, song and story. Follow your tour guide to explore the whole area, you will view Buddha from different view.
Lingyun Temple
Your first stop is the Lingyun Temple which located behind the Grand Buddha’s head. Marvel at the elaborate construction of the Buddha’s coiled hair, which is made up of around 1,020 twisted buns. Walk inside and marvel at the intricate sculptures and wall designs of the temple. Then absorb panoramic views of three rivers converging prettily below. Then, follow your guide walk down approximately 30 minutes toward the left side of the Grand Buddha. When you reach the bottom, gasp at the 233-foot (71-meter) height of the largest carved Buddha in the entire world and capture fantastic photographs of the sacred site.
Wuyou Temple
Next, explore the right side of the Buddha to discover the Wuyou Temple which contains an abundance of terra-cotta sculptures and calligraphic paintings. Stroll around the temple with your tour guide, learn more information about the Buddhism. Finally, you will take a cruise of the river for the panoramic view of Giant Buddha. Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel in Chengdu.
