Day 3 Anshun – Kaili (B, L)

Today, after breakfast, you will be driven for about 1 hour to Dragon Palace Scenic Area in Anshun City. The Tianchi Lake, created by the collapse of a Karst cave roof isrenowned for its exceptionally low radiation levels, making it oneof the most pristine destinations globally. After the fantastic experience in Langde, drive about 26 km (about40 mins) to Datang Miao Village in Leishan County. Balancing resources and population has always been crucial for societal harmony and environmental stability.According to the legend, there is a herbalist in the village who uses the mythical herbs to control the population. In some cultures, before couples decide to have a second child, they seek guidance from a local herbalist. The herbalist retrieves water from either a “boy well” or a “girl well” and brews a soup with a local herb. This ritual is believed to predict the gender of the unborn child. Day 6 Zhaoxing – Congjiang Departure (B)

After breakfast, you’ll explore the largest Dong village in Guizhou – Zhaoxing Dong Village. Zhaoxing Village is a picturesque destination that has earned its place as one of the six most beautiful countrysides in China. Its iconic drum towers, recognized by the Guinness World Records in 2001, add to its charm and cultural significance. This recognition highlights the village’s unique blend of natural beauty and architectural heritage, making it a must-visit for those seeking a glimpse into China’s rural treasures. It is divided into 5 natural small villages, living in five different areas – which are called “Tuan” locally.Besides, there are five drum towers, five Wind and Rain Bridges and five stages setting in the village. Start your exploration from the village gate and get atop of the viewing platform to enjoy the panorama, where you can also clearly appreciate the five drum towers standing beautifully in the village.Afterwards, pay a visit to the Zhaoxing Dong Culture Museum to have a better understanding about Dong people and its culture in all aspects. Follow the route to visit Xin Tuan (means faith) with the highest drum tower at 25.9 meters, Zhi Tuan (means wisdom), Yi Tuan (means righteousness), Li Tuan (means Rritual) with the first drum tower in Zhaoxing built in 17th century and Ren Tuan (means benevolence).
