8 Days Northeast China Tour with Harbin Ice & Snow Festival

Attending the famous Ice & Snow Festival in Harbin and enjoying the charm of snow in Northeast China! You will not only appreciate the amazing snow-white landscape of this area, but also learn more about the past, the present and the future of these cities from this tour.

Day 1 Harbin Arrival

Welcome to Harbin, the Capital of Heilongjiang Province, which is well known as the “Ice City” in China.

Your lifetime Northeast China tour begins with welcome from your local guide at the airport. Then you will be escorted to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of today is yours to explore the city on your own.

Day 2 Harbin ( B,L )

Today’s tour begins to visit the Sun Island Scenic Resort, which is located north Harbin right by the Songhua River, to appreciate the amazing snow sculpture during the Ice & Snow Festival.

Then visit the nearby Siberian Tiger Park, the largest breeding center in the world for Siberian Tigers. You can take a bus with wire-mesh protection through the park to closely see the tigers.

Day 3 Harbin & Jilin ( B,L )

After breakfast, you will have a city tour in Harbin. The highlight of today is St. Sophia Church Square, where you can see the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East. You will also visit the Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, which is a long corridor of European architectures with long history.

After that, you will visit the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum to learn more about the northeast part of China.

Then, you will be escorted to Jilin city, the second largest city in Northeast China.

Day 4 Jilin & Changchun ( B,L )

After breakfast, you will visit Songhua River, Jilin Rime, Catholic Church and Sika Deer Farm in the city.

After the tour, be driven to Changchun.

Day 5 Changchun & Shenyang ( B,L )

Today’s tour starts from the Puppet Emperor’s Imperial Palace, the official residence created by the Imperial Japanese Army for China’s last emperor Puyi to live in as part of his role as Emperor of the puppet state of Manchukuo. Next, visit The Eight Ministries of Puppet Manchuguo Regime, which were established as a way for the Japanese to legitimize their claim to the territory of Northeast China.

After that, moving on to Shenyang and check in Hotel.

Day 6 Shenyang & Dalian ( B,L )

Today, you will first go to Shenyang Imperial Palace, the most ancient imperial architectural complex of Qing Dynasty next to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Then, visit the Former Residence of General Zhang Xueliang nearby the Imperial Palace.

Then, take a walk in Beiling Park, the largest park in the downtown of Shenyang, which is the tomb garden of the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty.

After today’s tour, transfer to Dalian, a vibrant economic center and tourist city of Liaoning Province.

Day 7 Dalian ( B,L )

After breakfast, you will first visit the Xinghai Square, the landmark of Dalian City. Here you can enjoy an awesome view of the city as well as the sea. Then move on to Tiger Beach Scenic Park (Laohutan Scenic Park), the biggest modern lido in China with four parts: the Tiger Park, Singing Birds Woods, Tiger Square and an Aquarium.

After that, you will visit Dalian Harbor, which is reputed as the Bright Pearl of Northern China, and Russian Street to experience the exotic culture of this city.

Day 8 Dalian Departure ( B )

Today, you are free till our guide takes you to the airport for the flight for your next destination.
